How this comparison is made, and how it is funded
breathedgevs.space exists to answer one question well: if you are choosing between Breathedge and Subnautica, which should you buy? We try to do that with facts you can check, not filler.
Our sourcing rule
Every figure on the site, prices, review counts, ratings, system requirements and platform support, is copied from a named source and linked at the bottom of the page it appears on. We mark each source as either primary (the developer, publisher or platform stating it directly, such as a Steam store page) or secondary (a named third party such as Metacritic or Wikipedia). If a claim cannot be tied to one of those, it does not go on the page.
What we will not do
We have not completed either game, and we do not pretend otherwise. You will not find a fabricated "I played 40 hours" verdict here, an invented main-story length, or a made-up rating of our own. Where numbers around the web disagree and no official figure exists, such as completion time, we say so and leave the number out. Refusing to state something we cannot verify is part of the point of the site, not a gap in it.
Keeping it current
Some numbers drift. Steam review counts and store prices in particular change often, so those carry an "as of" date wherever they appear, and we refresh them and update the date. The most recent full data refresh was 2026-08-10.
How the site is funded
This is an independent, self-published site. It is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense, which is what keeps it free to read. We do not charge for access, and our comparisons and recommendations are not paid placements. Ratings and verdicts are driven by the sourced data described above, not by any advertiser. If we add affiliate links in future, we will disclose them clearly on the pages that use them.
