How they actually play

Both follow the survival-craft template rather than reinventing it. Two things are worth reading into those numbers rather than just the percentages. First, the volume gap is enormous. Subnautica has been reviewed roughly twenty times as often as Breathedge, which tells you it is the mainstream hit and Breathedge is the smaller, more niche title. Second, a 81.6% "Very Positive" score is no warning sign; plenty of people bought Breathedge and were glad they did. So skip the good-game-versus-bad-game framing. Here Subnautica simply covers more ground.
